THE COLOR ORANGE [something noteworthy] Here's an important message regarding Evite/FB event etiquette: If you're the first to respond and you cannot attend, wait a few days before posting your decline. That way, the first thing that future people viewing the invitation see won't be your decline. Also, it's an act of courtesy towards the host of the party.
No response seems to be the new "decline." Which makes the actual declines more like, "Yuck! I really, really do not want to spend time with you."
ReplyDeleteI try to actually decline if I know I won't be there. For me, its a matter of manners, if food buying is going to be an issue.
